DIR2HTM --------------------- A commandline utility running under pure DOS. DIR2HTM will search any directory you specify, on your hard drive(s), for files and sub-directories, and generate an INDEX.HTM file to display them. Each item in INDEX.HTM is a hyperlink to that file. For local file systems only. Usage: DIR2HTM /? - A small help screen. (also /h, -h, -?, see screen) DIR2HTM [drive:\path\directory] - generate an INDEX.HTM of all the files and sub-directories in \path\directory. DIR2HTM - will ask you for a drive:\path\directory Press ENTER for the current directory. So far, DIR2HTM.EXE will recognise .HTM files (and add any title found), .TXT files (and display the first line), graphics files (GIF, JPG, PNG and BMP) and display tiny thumbnails as part of each link. You will need a graphical browser, such as Arachne, to view them. There is also a netdos version, specifically for use with Arachne. This program is copyrighted freeware.
